I was so close to pulling the trigger on a 6mt F80 m3 with ED but decided to keep my C6 for now. Might have to change my mind again after reading this, but I'd like to plan my ED for when it's less gloomy over there, especially in the coming months with snow and such lol

I wasn't surprised that TX steak was better
Go in the summer or before Oct. Oct is hit or miss and after is definitely not great with the weather. F80 M3 is a great car, low 500 whp with a tune, not bad.

Yep that's the plan!

Yeah I attended a dyno day with a bunch of F8x M cars when they first came out last October

It was 100 degress that day, my stock LS3 C6 6mt put down 395whp, F8x M cars were putting down 412-420whp, with a tune and some E85 there were multiple 500whp+ pulls. The shop car had catless downpipes IIRC and made mid-500whp. A full bolt-on E90 M3 made 360whp. This was at European Auto Source here in California

That's also the day I learned the cars really don't sound as bad as the internet makes them out to be...I actually like how aggressive and unique the exhaust note is

I've got to stop checking out car talk forum. I'm gonna follow the herd and spend money on fast cars...
No point in resisting. Just do it!

Since u get the Euro delivery, what about the size difference between plate size?

I know on most cars that make cars for both countries (S2k for example), they have a different trunk or bumper to accommodate the different size plates for each market.

Same bumpers / trunklid, just a different bracket for the rear plate, Euro vs. US. The European front plate is only attached with double-sided tape and is easily removed. We have no front plate here in Pennsylvania.

Funny side note, the first car we saw when reaching the top of Stelvio Pass was a RHD Monte Carlo Blue S2000. Saw an Imola Orange S2000 on our descent from the top of Stelvio Pass.
