I'd take the 911 since this particular 6-series does nothing for me.

Now if it was a comparison between an E24 635Csi and a new 911, I'd probably take the E24.

Could have either car - for what purpose? Any purpose? Then neither. Neither is a good daily driver nor a too great race car.

I would choose something faaar more specialized for both purposes. Hell, I'd even choose a MR2 hardtop over any of those if I had to drive it daily and be able to race around in it.
