^ critics will always say that yea people are saying that the E46 was better looking than the E90/E92 because it'll take some time for people to like the newer models. Just like it was when the E46 came out compared to the E36.

The truth however is that when teh E46 came out, it was an instant appeal whereas the newer ones were .....

I however do like the coupe quite a bit. The M3 on the other hand is not that appealing.

i think it's an attractive car. i actually like the taillight treatment.

is it just me, or is there a little bit of x-type in the rear 3/4 view?
