My impression of the car is that there's too much styling cues/creases/edges/buldging going on in this small platform of a car to pull it off smoothly.
As a result the car is akward and a little too boy-racer for a BMW.

The price will be prohibitive to some, it always is. But let's think about how BMW makes money for a minute: they lease a lot of cars and offer free maintenance in hopes of keeping the cars well maintained. when they get the cars back, they CPO them, and resell or lease at a nice profit. That secondary market - the CPO'd 1M, is going to be like a mega-maid that sucks money out of boy racers' pockets.
