Not hitting my lust-button at that price (and wombat is a good word for the look, ha ha). BMW is as bad as Porsche when it comes to options raising the price.

I'm not at all surprised by the price.

You really have to think of the performance the car offers not the trim level packaging when considering price.

As for the styling, I am hoping it looks better in person.

The tight proportions of the one series have been tough on the styling cues.

That's exactly what I think BMW is doing, lately.

Trying to move upmarket and take on the Porsche approach to pricing and margins per vehicle, screw volume!

The price of the 335is is 50k. Base price of a 2011 135i is 39,925. Pricing seems fair. They will only make enough to meet demand. No repeat of Z4M.
