^^^ no such thing, IMO.
I think maybe the v8 rumor has been dispelled around here lately - but personally I don't see BMW going from 330hp in the old M to 300 in the new one, even if it is faster. I also don't see BMW putting a non-M edition engine into an M car. Further, all of the M models now have N/A, high revving motors.
Unless they have a V6 in the works, I don't see the TT making it into the Z4M - the regular Z4 I could see all day.
One thing is for sure - if BMW wanted to steal a boatload of Cayman/Boxster owners, putting a 400+ hp V8 in the car would be a great way to do it.

Do what you want with the engine, but please BMW, make the Z4 as pretty as that render. I'm so tired of BMW cars I want to love being ruined by awkward overwrought design.

I doubt it. It will make the Z8's resale value plummet.
Cars ain't an investment anyway... well, few are, but it seems like too many people are way too worried about a particular car losing money, it's life and it happens, as crappy as it may sound :\
