Getting the proper safety equipment is a definite. I wear my seat belt when driving around the block, so I'm definitely purchasing quality gear before I start to ride. I know that starts to get quite expensive so if you know of any reliable sources, preferably online, please let me know. Thank you

Danny

Take the MSF class, and if you like it invest in some good gear, and then buy a used sv650.

NewEnough.com is a great site. Good prices and a great reputation. I picked up a leather 2 piece perforated suit with full CE armor from Tourmaster from NewEnough for less than $350.

Anyone have any experience with the sv650? I was told it was a good bike. I was thinking of getting one as my first bike, good idea? I have a little riding experience and will be taking one of the safety courses over the summer.

Once you get the feel for the 600 though... let me know your thoughts. R6 was a blast.
How exactly do you jet a fuel injected bike
And a K&N on an R6 is not a good thing.
