Better then S2000?

Better then S2000?
Doesn't the RX-8 just make teh s2000 obsolete? I mean it costs way cheaper, its more powerful, and it looks way kooler. It also has 4 doors and 4 seats instead of 2. I guess you cant get a convertable, but if you dont wanna drive with the top down i would defintally choose the RX-8 over the S2000.

ive heard that the rx-8 handles very good it also has a 50:50 front back ratio like the S2000. ALso you dont have to put kids in the back, what if you want to take some friends with you or something... 2 seats isnt sufficient for me when lots of my friends do not like to drive.

not that i don't like RX8, i got my s2k because it is a 2 seater. i wanted a peaceful time by myself and possibly with my beloved. if i really wanted to be with other people, i guess i can always be in their car or something else. and i do hate when people get in and out of back seat scratching everywhere with their shoes and nails. plus sometimes you have to get out to let them out... 
i used to drive a SC400 and it wasn't "practical" if you want four seats, get a four door except for cars like 911.

an rx8 is not a lot cheaper. its about 4 grand cheaper on the sticker. good luck getting one at that price. rememeber the miata craze and mazda dealers are notorious for markups. car and driver also said the rx8 lacks the sophisticated steering feel of, guess what car? thats right the s2000.

What published testing has been done with a *production model RX-8* that shows it to outperform the S2000? According to the numbers that have been released for it right now, I believe the RX-8 will be a tad bit below the S2000, performance wise.
