I am looking for a third car, winter beater and a car i can take on a longer trip, ie 4 hours ect.
Which do you think would be better of the two, ride quality ect.
I dont care much about performance numbers, i figure they are very similar.

Call me crazy, but the Legacy 05 Turbo may be better than either. Not in performance, but overall. It's bigger, more comfortable, cheaper, etc..
That's what I'd rather drive 4+ hrs.

STI is very noisy. I would yet buy STI, but if I have to drive 4+ hours, then EVO is better IMHO.

it's got to be an evo, sti,or maybe and r32. i need all wheel drive for winter, and i cant buy a car slower than the s2000, i know i'm a freak, after driving the porsche i need the speed. I figured i could get a decent deal on a slightly used evo, i could track it and i have been thinking about doing a newfoundland rally with my brother. Evo fits the bill but is it driveable to cleveland and back. How would it compare to the s2000 for a longer trip.
