The Malibu looks MUCH better. The new Accord looks like crap. I wouldn't be concerned with reliability, but I would be concerned with resale. The Accord's is stellar, and the Malibu's is unknown.

Not to bash american cars but I am still on the fence about the quality and over all reliability.
