Name your list of best and worst sounding cars. Here’s mine:

Best sounding cars
CGT
LFA
R8
Honorable mention: any Maserati
(Never been a huge fan of F-car sounds)

Worst sounding cars
STi and Evo (those with aftermarket exhaust only amplifies their awful sounds)

Really? I love the sound of my roommates STi, it sounds downright devilish at times.

i like the sound of c_gt too.
and i like ferrari sounds also, especially the new 458.
i'm not a big fan of lamborghinis but murcielago at wot sounds amazing i think.
watching lfa promo video still gives me chills.

i think rx-7 or rx-8 with aftermarket exhausts sound awful.
and i have to agree with ben on sti/evo.

rx-8 sounds like crap with an exhaust.. I love the sound of a good EVO/STi exhaust, your nuts... 2jz Supra TT may be my favorite.

Best sounding includes:
Aston Martin V8s.
And of all the domestic V8s, I think Mustangs have the best sound (with the right exhaust).

Worst sounding:
350/370Z; G35/37; FX35; etc. I used to like them, but now they just get on my nerves.

STI sounds great, especially with an aftermarket exhaust. OP is nuts.

Worst is the Prius/Leaf/Insight

STOCK exhausts?
Lancer Evolution
2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse V6 (believe it or not!)
Dodge SRT-4
Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep SRT-8
VW R32
Ferrari (any)
Spyker C6 Spyder (just heard one for the first time this past weekend)
I like the S2000's stock sound too.

Aftermarket?
A MINI with a straight 3" pipe with no muffler or resonator after the 2nd cat-converter sounds glorious.
I used to have a Prelude with Mugen header and cat-back that sounded wicked awesome.

Best: Ferrari F355, Porsche Carrera GT, Lexus LF-A

Worst: No idea, really.

I think the STi sounds amazing, especially with a stock exhaust. That low, deep burble sounds great to my ear.
