Umm, because you missed the value portion of that equation. You have to ask yourself if it is worth a LOT of extra coin to get that last 15, 20, or 25%.
Of course you pay way more than what the ''value'' should be, but it's like that with every car...
If we all took the ''is it really worth 10 000$'' more rule we would all be driving 1992 Miatas with a supercharger kit.
