i've got the tomtom go 930 and it works awesome- the go 730 (same but without euro maps) would be a solid bet too if you don't plan on using it in europe and wanna save some cash

garmin nuvi FTW! i work at circuit city in car electronics and i sell garmins all day long. i have a garmin 760 and it is amazing! garmin is the only thing i would buy.. they have there own satilities so its the fastest responding!! and def easiest to use!!

200 series dosent talk street names so if thats a prob go with the 260 and above!
I hope you haven't made a fool out of yourself and told customers that Garmin has their own satellites. GPS satellites were put up by the US Dept. of Defense.

My Garmin 200W (a gift) is okay, but my FIL got a Garmin 3XX(?) that has about 2x the battery life. The main advantage he has, aside from spoken street names, is that his has a dimmer control so he can turn brightness down and save battery life. The battery life on my 200W kinda sucks, about 2-3 hours at best.

Been using my D3 for 6 months now. It's awesome! I think I paid $575 for the unit but I added XMTraffic/Radio, Bluetooth, and IPOD integration. Everything works excellently.

how much were your add ons? I use mine as an FM modulator to run my MP3 player, but no XM and traffic on mine is only a bit extra

Haven't you heard? It's part of the new social order.

DOD injected $500 million into Garmin in exchange for a 55% equity stake.

Hey, if treasury can buy banks......why can't we nationalize technology companies?

Haha well the sat's are shared but I still have my preference. I like the Tele Atlas maps on my TomTom- they seem to be more accurate round my area, and the POI's kinda round out the package
