i've got the tomtom go 930 and it works awesome- the go 730 (same but without euro maps) would be a solid bet too if you don't plan on using it in europe and wanna save some cash

My Garmin 200W (a gift) is okay, but my FIL got a Garmin 3XX(?) that has about 2x the battery life. The main advantage he has, aside from spoken street names, is that his has a dimmer control so he can turn brightness down and save battery life. The battery life on my 200W kinda sucks, about 2-3 hours at best.
