The E55 will do 200+ with no governors, and the CL55 and S55 have both been clocked at 192.

I love a pillarless coup

BTW I'm doubting the E55 is faster than the Bentley

And un-governed E55 is not technically a "production car"

Check out those brakes (I think the largest on a production car)

They are available from the factory with the 155 mph governor replaced by one which cuts the fun at 186 in Europe, but you can still order them without any limiter. So yes, it still is a "production" car.

I stand corrected, however I've not seen the top speed quoted, the Bentley is quoted as 198mph (drag limited).

Not sure if this is a record or anything, but the Bentley was run at 175mph for 18,500 miles.

I can't get over it's weight because at 5250 lbs it's damn near as heavy as a large SUV.

The new Audi S8 has the same engine as the Gallardo +50 hp, resulting in a higher top speed than the Gallardo. How much is not known yet.
I prefer the AM DB9 over the Bentley, because the interior looks so much better and classier. Just look at the crystal start button that changes color when the engine is on and the audio made by Linn.
