Default beater tyre wear

well guys, about 6k miles ago i had all 4 tyres replaced on my beater (92 civic lsi).
i replace all the tyres just because i do.
anyway i had a look at my tyres today and i noticed something very worrying.
my back set look like they are brand new (which they should do!) but my front tyres are about 40%-50% worn!
my last set of tyres i had on this car lasted me 45-50k miles, so i am pretty shocked at this amount of wear on the front.

my driving style has not changed and i do not spin my wheels etc.

do i have a 'bad' set of tyres???

please help!

I'd say 99% likely you're out of alignment.

You need to get a 4 wheel alignment. Your front toe settings are likely all out of whack, causing the accelerated wear.

thanks for the input guys. im supprised it is alignment as i have used this garage for ages.

iatacs19, i rotate my front and back when the fronts are about 50-60% worn so at the end of the about 50k both front and back are worn to about 60%.

i dont like going any lower as we normally have allot of rain here and standing water is always a problem.

if i was out of alignment would that cause wear on one particular side of the tyre ??

like toe in / toe out would cause wear on the inner side of the tyre or outer side of the tyre tread.

if the alignment is out would that scrub the whole tyre ?

thanks

every thing is stock on my car (exept speakers) .

i think i will go back to the garage that fitted them and ask if they can do a re-alignment.

just to add something. the car still drives in the way that it did.
when i let go of the wheel (on a more or less flat road) the car stays straight, and only very slightly veers off to one side (bank of the road).
