Sti may have issues with the ring land failures but that is only with the newer models but the evo is rock solid and people pushing 450whp on stock internals all day long.

I was mainly referring to the SHO as a good option that has nice interior, smooth driving car, looks great and has awd v6 turbo. Just as fast as a stock S4 and if you throw bolt-ons on a s4 you can throw bolt-ons on the SHO.

SRT8 Cherokee? Not my cup of tea but AWD + 470 HP V8 and a vastly improved interior.

I had a 2013 Lexus GS350 AWD for a few months, but it just didn't fit me. It was a great car otherwise. Most folks think it's very comfortable and a big step up in performance and handling from the last generation GS. You should be able to find a nicely equipped 2013 CPO AWD unit for around 40K.

I estimate that the MQB platform Golf R is still not faster than the AMG in a straight line, but will hold it's own. I think they mainly threw the GTI in there b/c it's the go to Hatch and it's good enough to show that not everything is perfect on other higher end cars when the GTI can be better in some areas. boddy roll and control for instance in comparison to the M135i.

I really didn't fancy the M135i hatch. Not realy a M series in my book. More of a "is" series aka M sport package 135i. I believe the US spec 1M would have clearly beaten the A45 AMG in all categories accept for maybe interior.

Going to be a long time for me to wait for the 2015 Golf R which is rumored to be released late fall 2014. Gotta get rid of all those 2013 Golf Rs that aren't selling that well.

I was sidebyside with a a new 5door light blue A3 sline the other day. SUPER good looking car IMO.
