In person the car is smaller than you are expecting. And much nicer looking. Fit and finish is perfect.
And as far as weight, just to put things in perspective, the weight tag inside the door of an 07 350z says 3919 #
That means the GTR weighs almost exactly the same as a Z.

Those who've never seen one in person keep calling it otherwise.

My coworker has one and I think it looks like a rectangular block of wood that's had a few chunks taken out of it and the maker called it a day. But hey, it goes like stink on stock tires so who cares how terrible it looks?
Pics of your coworker's GT-R (possibly with a piece of paper with your screen name written on it)!
Anyone can say anything. My mother has a Veyron and I get to drive it daily.

I'm sorry, until I see proof, I have to call BS. Your coworker happens to be one of the very first customers in the entire U.S. to have taken delivery? Official delivery won't start until September.

2. My coworker has some sway due to the company we work for.
3. Official delivery was over a week ago.
4. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a picture next time he drives it to work.
5. Get over it, it looks dumpy in person, especially the side vents that look totally pointless/non-functional and the seats which look like children's car seats because of the size of the car.
On a positive note, the rims look great and the cars is a 9/10 visually when looking at it from behind.

Funny remark coming from a guy who loves the "new" Camaro in which they just rehashed an old design that's an aerodynamic failure.
I never said I loved the design of the new Camaro, I like it for being classic yet looking modern similar to the way Porsche executes all there COSMETIC designs...as an evolution. I also like it for being true to what it is, a true GT muscle car, not a track car disguised as a GT that gets 13 MPG. And If your bringing up my old posts you'll note that I criticized it for having lame reverse lights...which seems to be a problem with more and more cars nowadays (350Z for example is especially terrible).
