I haven't seen the ascari up close but you'd have to break out the calipers to see any differences in panel gaps on the NOBLE. the 3 or 4 that I saw in TEXAS had panel gaps as good (and much smaller) if not better than my friend's M3 and believe you me I'm EXTREMELY picky and i spent a good 30minutes looking over the entire car. I even sat there and closed the door a good 15-20times between the 3 cars to see if i could feel any play there... absolutely none.

Talking about some interior finish, there was something that was lacking but the fitment of the exterior body panels was nothing short of incredible. The finish of the paint also was almost flawless. I looked and looked and could not detect ANY orange peel whatsover. The paint was extremetly even all over the car.

In just looking at the pictures of the ascari.. it looks as if the wheels don't even fit.. The rears stick out a little.. Sheetmetal bends but fiberglass would probably crack if there was any fitment issues with the wheels.

If it's all about performance, I'd get a Z06 for 65K. If it's about being exotic/performance/fun to drive, I'd get a F430. I don't know how someone can justify spending 400K on a car like that.

with this logic the new Bugatti should be able to do 600mph. Who needs to fly when you can drive there just as fast.

edit:
as far as the tvr sagirs this page (http://www.tvr-eng.co.uk/)says 400HP and 195mph @2500lbs. I am sure gearing is most important for running that high. the carrera GT has 620hP and only does 205, what's wrong with it?? Maybe, just maybe they decided ~200 is fast enough and their is no reason to gear it to run faster....maybe.

Maybe they decided it would be a good idea to sacrifice a little top speed for some downforce. There are very few residential streets around here where you can do much over 150 anyway.

troll...... it's cause of the gearing not the amount of hp... a car can have 1000hp but if the gearing won't allow it to reach the speeds of 200+ it won't ....
