argh. 1967 Shelby GT in paper sold for $16,500!

Maybe I SHOULD make it up to Mechanicsburg more often, if they are giving away over-valued muscle cars up there... Kudos to the guy who called at 5:30 a.m. and picked it up at 8:00 a.m. He should make a tidy profit there. When I was in high school at Cow Valley ('90-'94), there was a used-car place on the Carlisle Pike, where the Saturn dealership is (was?) (also the former site of the Rainbow Roller Rink, which is where Poison made its public debut, I have been told). But I digress... This used-car place had a mint, orange Hemi Cuda with less than 50,000 miles, and they were asking $50,000 at the time. I, in high school, was shocked by this astounding figure. What's that car worth now? $200-300K? I can't believe the prices people are paying for muscle cars these days.

Scot, maybe you can get a hold of that ad and send it to Autoweek for their BWTM section. I'm sure plenty of other enthusiast will share your pain, as we do.
