I'm watching, just saw the 57 injected Corvette go for $76k. Some of them seem like a reasonable deal. I've got my eye out for a 70 or 71 Z28. I have a hunch clean original ones will increase in value a lot in the next few years, and they can be found for much less than the 68-69 models right now.

I was going to go to the auction, but their ticket prices this year have turned me away. I suppose I'll be content to watch it from home. =\

My first take on this years auction is that way too many cars are Resale Red
Please for the love of the car gods - No more RED!

Yeh noticed that to, lots of red. How much were ticket prices? They said there were 4,000 bidders in there and thats not including all the staff etc. All the guys so far look like my dads age 50 or older.

Ticket prices vary depending on what day you go.

Just to attend, here's the breakdown:

Wed/Sun: $20
Thurs: $25
Fri: $40
Sat: $50
5-day pass: $130

It's basically more than double what it was last year. On top of that, the food vendors have been jacking up prices too.

I saw the 25th Ani. Coutach. What a beauty. It sold for a mere 90+. That car looks better that the new Muric. and the baby lambo. Lambo need to go back to that crazy look it had with that.
