I Kind of agree with musicguy (if he means that people don't use the whole bike's ability).

Most people won't use all power of their bikes simply becuase they can't do that on public roads. Yes you can say people take it to the track, but even there unless you are a REALLY experienced rider, you won't be using your bike to the full potential.

I would honestly just get the most Daily-drivable friendly and most practical bike. However looks play a huge role in this as well =]

Don't get me wrong, I love the technology wars. A couple of pounds, hp, tq, 10ths of a second are just irrelevant unless you are a competative racer. The best bike IMO is the one that is most confidence inspiring, enjoyable to ride, and pleasing to look at, to you. I have no real interest in new japanese bikes just because they are just all the same to me. I do have some older ones. If I were looking for a new middleweight bike my first choice would be the Triumph if I was a street rider. Its also a lot more fun when some squid on a new sport bike can't catch me in the twisties on my old RZ350.

that's exactly what it comes down to. It sounds like that's what Honda has accomplished with the new RR.

We usually ride the same roads all the times. When I take out a different bike or even the same bike with with new mods/suspension settings, I can really tell the difference.

______________

I'm gonna look at upgrading to a full akra, and pc3. that should smoothen out the midrange, and I get to keep the slipper. Some Marchesini's would be sex on the Raven.
