Anyone know anything about M3 leases?
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about what M3s lease for. I built a relatively basic one on BMW's website with a sticker of $60,850, and it said a 36 mo. lease with $2,500 cap cost reduction (I think) and 10,000 miles per year is $1,126/mo. That makes no sense. You can get a $45K 335i for only $519/mo. with similar terms and a $63K 550i for $649/mo. with similar terms. How can a $60,850 M3 lease for $1,126/mo.? I could also do a 60 mo. finance at 5.99% for $55K and pay $1,063/mo., and I have to believe that I can get $5K off an M3 nowadays. What gives?

BMW heavily subsidizes leases much of the time on certain cars like the 3 series, but not on others like the M3 and 135.
I wouldn't be surprised if a 135 costs more to lease than a 335. It's just a reflection of what they try moving via incentives.
Maybe BMW Financial is less motivated to lease a car that's more likely to be beat on?

i saw a lease deal thrown out by a dealer/vendor from m3post. it was a fully opted m3 convertible lease, no down, 850$/month for 36 months. SUCH a STEAL. I'm not sure if this particular deal is still going and im not advertising FOR it. but i just remember drooling and cussing when i saw it on m3post.

$519 for a 335i?! I've never heard of people paying this, usually its around a couple dollars higher to lease one. As for the M3, the extra cost is for a car with soul

Where are you getting your numbers? The only way you're getting things that low is if you're looking at the Money Factor and Cap Reductions for a BMW employee.

You can't compare leases like that. Different cars have different residuals and rates when it comes to leases that determines the monthly payment.

I think the point is that BMW discourages consumers from leasing M3's, and puts disadvantageous enough terms to steer shoppers into 335i leases or M3 purchases.
