Thx guys glad I asked.

Now the biggest question. 6spd or steptronic?

Unlike SMG, it is still an automatic. I heard it is a really good one that will blip throttle during downshifts.

Mercedes AMGs also use automatics, seem like no one is complaining with those either. I just don't want to make a decision that I will regret.

You probably have to test drive both to see which one is better. I test drove the automatic, yeah it has the rev matching, and torque converter locking. but still it was an automatic, I didn't feel the power, and the drive wasn't exciting, I would take the manual anytime, but most of my driving is highway with no traffic, so shifting is not a problem for me.
It really depends on you, and what you expect from the car.
