I was going to change the oil in my G/F's VW, but can't find the right filter. Wondering if there are even any aftermarket filters, or do I have to go to the dealer?

When I owned my VR6's I always went to the dealer to purchase my filters. There were two different filters, atleast in 1996's, I believe they stuck with only one filter after that.
