Anyone else scared off by M3 reliability?

I don't understand the hatred for the M3. 
Yep it has its problems. If going to the dealer every so often bothers you so much, then buy a freakin Civic.
My M3 is 1 year old and has 20k HARD HARD autobahn, backroad, track driven miles. I've carted my whole familiy all over Europe, done at least 30-40 drag strip launches, done the autocross thing and have even spun on the legendary Nordschleife.
When I get off work and see her sitting in the parking lot, I'm filled with joy and anticipation. When I fire up the 333 horses, all of my problems go away (similar to my S2k ownership days). I think she is one of the top 5 sexiest new cars out and offers me 98% of my driver needs. Currently, I think most Japanese offerings lack any sex appeal.
The day Acura/Lexus/Infiniti can offer this along with Japanese reliability then I'll think about jumping ship.
Anyways, I've had my share of problems. If I could do it again, I would.
And for the record, I think NFRs2000NYC is bitter. He seems to spread lotsa hate towards BMW. I'm sure when you guys drop off your S2ks for service that Honda/Acura goes and gives you a $35k loaner...

CR gave the M3 the #1 spot and rated it a best buy in its category. The M beat out the S4, C32 AMG and Pontiac GTO. Reliability was average. I don't know why the GTO was included.
