I only saw the last half of it on Speed channel last night. Great story about the "Toyo Tires Time Attack" event. A bunch of tuner cars were invited to see who was fastest. Looked like it was done at Buttonwillow but I missed the intro.

The most amazing report was John Heinricy beating everyone in a front-wheel-drive Cobalt SS with (supposed to be) 90+% bolt-ons! Not all the drivers were pros but there were enough to say that Cobalt really is something wicked.

One of my favorites had to be the gutted race-prepped Datsun 510 with a turbo rotary.

Anyone else see it? Supposed to be covered in a magazine article somewhere (forget where).
