And I don't ride American made junk.
sorry dude! when they make a film ( not harley- discovery channel) about how high tech this design was.
this bike is im glad your not on one! I was ok with it until you claim it to be junk!
I will put it this way....
you cant out run me, you cant out handle me, take your pick front to back for a comparision! wheels? brakes? forks? lighting? instrumentation? engine? power?
etc etc
I on the other had appreciate alot of different bikes for different reasons

Sorry pal, that V-ROD isn't American made either and my comment was directed specifically at the Boss Hoss, which IS an American made piece of junk.
Man you Harley guys are so defensive...
Like I said before, the V-Rod is the ONLY modern Harley I have any respect for but please don't start magazine racing with me and spoil that respect.
On the numbers side, I'm pretty sure you and I would be match up equally, the only advantage you're going to end up having on paper is being 200 pounds lighter.

No thanks.
Ever been on a Boss Hoss?
Highly overrated.

I'd like to ride one some day just to experience it (I'm having a hard time fathoming what it would be like), but it's not my cup of tea.
If they every made the dodge tomahawk on the other hand, that is a pretty cool looking bike (car).

Interesting, when did the US switch to the metric system?
Oh yeah... WE DIDN'T!

no! carves it up! that 240 is a 30 series tire! lays right over and besides you ne a big contact patch considering it has more whp than an s2k and weighs 600 #
best of both worlds- forward controls, drag pegs, progressive suspension with ohlins w/ remote rez, lowered, heading to San antonio this weekend to run some back road s with my son- ( in our s2k's)

I'm sure it's fast as hell in a straight line and beautiful, but if you really think it's fast, come out w/ me on a Hill Country ride sometime. If you can come close to hanging in the twisties, I'll give you made props on this thread!
