Anybody ever heard of Derbi?
Anybody ever heard of a Derbi GPR? It's a 50cc sports bike. It does around 70 mph stock. You can compare it to an Aprilia RS50. I am planning on buying one this Spring, I was just wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions or just wanted to talk about it. Maybe the younger riders would be interested in the fact that in some states you can register a 50cc bike as a moped. Maybe some1 on this forum is an owner. If anyone has anything to say about it, please do so. Later.

My friend's got a race ready derbi with a 90cc motor in it. It's pretty damn fast for a 90cc. Stock, the 50cc is simply slow...faster than the Aprilia RS 50 though.

Yeah, those are nice. But close to 5 G's right? A new Derbi is like 3. There's also Rieju and Motorhispania that make 50cc bikes. I'm planning on getting a 2003 Derbi GPR Racing in gray/black this spring. Can't wait... put an 80cc kit on, Team Calamari pipe, 21mm carb, and some other stuff. It's gonne be fun!
