Default any suggestions?

Well... i've been wanting to get an S2k for awhile now but i came to the conclusion that i really cant afford to have a car with a 2 passanger limit. Taking that into mind, i've come to the following two choices; a 2004 Mazda RX-8 or a WRX STi. I personally am leaning towards the RX-8 but i was wondering if anyone out there has had experience driving both cars and could enlighten me on some of your thoughts/likes about each of the cars. thanks

I've driven the RX-8 once and ridden in the STi a few times, so I don't have extensive experience with either. However, based on my limited experience with the two, I'd go for the STi hands down. It's faster, handles better, and pretty much outperforms the RX-8 across the board. The RX-8 has a much nicer interior, though.

Thats one reason im leaning towards the RX-8 I am not in need of the high performance that the STi gives out but i was just curious as to if there were any major diffrences that would eliminate one choice in any of u S2ki members minds 0_o

Of the two I'd take the sti. but don't forget about te rsx type S. Especailly if you don't need all the performance from the sti. I test drove one and it is a great car.

Don't forget the IS300. It's not as full tilt sporty as the STI, it's also a tad behind the RX-8 in performance, but it's a solid car and will retain resale value.
