Any S4 Owners?
I figured this would be a good place to start...
I was recently at the NAIAS in Detroit, and really like the new Audi S4.
I was considering going to pre-order one of these bad boys, but wanted some opinion first from current S4 owners...
Any owners of ANY S4's, your opinions are welcomed!
If you hate S4's, please don't post here to flame, rather educate me in their shortcomings in a more pleasant manner....
Thanks in Advance!

There are a few S4 owners on the board who I am sure will chime in. You can look here for additional info.

Check out this thread on bimmerforums, compares the new S4 to the M3 and Volvo S60R

I wouldn't compare the current bi-turbo 6 cylinder to this new NA V8 monster. They're two totally different cars for all intents and purposes. Seems like a damn nice car!!! Order one if you got the means!!

If you are looking for tuneability pick up the current S4. The newer one is going to have a V-8 and now turbo so the ease of tuning the car wont be the same. However, it is still going to be fast and it still looks sharp. Cant go wrong with an S4. Personally I would get the current one though.

The new S4 uses the 4.2. They have a bi-turbo version of that motor in the RS6 (450hp). I know that they will probably not fit, but I'm sure the market will be there for tuning.
I have looked at the current S4, and the future S4. The modability of the currect 6 Turbo is endless, whilst the V8 may take some time. Even still, the V8 has 344hp & 302tq. While the current one requires quite a bit of money to get it to the 350hp mark.
I am not looking for overall modability here, because the current S4 would win.
I am looking for a "Are you happy with your Audi?" type situation... does that make more sense?
