Any good suggestions?
Which new car would you purchase if you had $35K? Please exclude Evo and Sti. Just trying to gather lists of cars at that price. Thanks for your input.

He's asking for NEW cars.
330i (maybe if you don't get any options ) The 330Ci is over $35K
325i/325Ci (I wouldn't touch them because I think the 3.0 is a million times better)
Z4 2.5
G35/G35 Coupe
IS300
RX-8
350Z
S2000
MR-2
Crossfire ($34,500)
Thunderbird/Mustang
RSX/TSX
Mini Cooper S
FX35
MDX
Murano
RX330
There are others but this is a pretty good list.
I think if you are willing to spend $35K you should at least look to spend a little more. For $36-38K you can get a 330Ci or an X5 3.0
For $44K you may be able to get a C5. I know this is more than you're looking for but MSRP $48K you should be able to get $4K off and 0% for 60 months (which is really like getting another $4K off) so a $44K Corvette at 0% is really like a $40K BMW at 6%... It all depends if you are financing or paying cash.

You asked for what car I'd buy.
Well I already have a S2000 so sports cars are out for me.
I'd look at
330Ci
G35 Coupe
RX-8
Of those three I think the G35 Coupe wins because it's better looking, more powerful( and cheaper than the BMW). But the BMW will have better resale value and the BMW has 48 months free maintance.
Basically I'd be happy with any of those 3 cars.
If I was looking to spend LESS than $30K I think the TSX, RX-8 and Mini would be great.

Thanks guys. Not looking at buying SUVs though. You guys pretty much suggested cars I was considering. I like the 350Z and G35 coupe. Any other sports car/coupe within this price range? I'm just trying to help out my g/f decide. Again, thanks!!!!
