Back in the days I test drove brand new G35 and used M3, bought M3. Like 3-4 years ago I test drove G37S and 335i, I bought 335i. Didn't like Infinity...... Whoever switched from G37S to 3-series, and there are many people, will tell you the same that BMW is better in almost every way.

G37 is good, just not as good.....

Heavy, like 3,800 pounds. Get a 335i instead. Lighter, more power.

Apparently he needed AWD, both 335xi and G37X weight the same, 335 does have a bit more power though considering those engines are underrated, should be around 320-330 for both hp and tq. 360-400 easily tuned

congrats on your pickup! i am sure you will enjoy it.
And ignore the haters. We looked at the 335 before we bought the G37. Trust me, the interior on the G37 is FAR superior to the 335. The 335 interior should have been on a chevy, not a bmw.

lol, talk about haters...I dont know which car you have been in, but fully loaded sport package 335i with iDrive interface looks better and is much better quality then G37S. I dont have those cars so there is no reason for me lie or anything. When I was on the market for those 2, both me and my wife agreed that 335 had superior interior and superior exterior (at least e92 does) compared to fully loaded brand new G37S that we saw.

you obviously cant tell the quality from the pictures, but BMW materials are top quality and Dokata leather feel real nice....

My boss has a 2012 335i hardtop vert with 13,000 miles. It's been in the shop 4 times since he's owned it(twice in the last week). I love everything about Bimmers except the German engineering. When that 60K mile threshold is passed on BMWs it's wallet time. The G37 is a safer buy by far.

German engineering is inconsistent. Some cars require more attention then others.......scary, I know, thats why you always buy CPO and never worry about a thing. When I sold my CPO M3, I made about $1-2k in one year and spent ZERO on repair and maintenance. On 335i I lost $1.5k in one year and thats only because I needed to sell FAST (in 1-2 weeks), also spent ZERO on repair and maintenance. 2 cars, 2 years, zero money out of my pocket...I like it

PS. few days ago I saw 2007 Audi S8 with 290k miles....looked like new....and thats a Lambo engine there. Of course I dont know if it was original engine....

Reliability and price is why I bought S2000. Germans are my 1st choice but cars I liked were either out of CPO warranty (and thats a no no) or were way to expensive. I wouldnt mind having another E46 M3, Z4M, or Cayman S for example.....

We drove a loaded 335i coupe. And my wife's sister has one. Yes, the materials sucked. The plastic was hard and cheap. Nothing was soft touch. Nothing felt quality.
The materials in the G37 were nicer, better laid out and felt more quality.

And don't start me on fully loaded 335i. You add all the options on my wife's G37 to the 335i and it stickered at almost 60k. Hers had everything (including illuminated kick plates, which nobody needs) and it maxed at 47k.

to each his own of course. but all plastics in 335 are either warped in leather or have rubberized soft coating on them, and trim is either real wood, AL, or carbon-fiber.
