I have one. I like it a lot, but it does eat gas. Like many M cars, most of the maintenance items can be a little pricey... looking at your car history though, i doubt you would care / notice. Engine is just a gem (and so far been a very reliable platform). The car is heavy, but not as heavy as most think (ive seen people weight in around 3570). The manual is great. I have not driven a DCT, but i know its fast.

If you have any specific questions let me know.

You could probably do better on the price though (check m3post.com).

Every low miles 2013 that I found is either a zillion miles from me or more $ or both..... this was the least expensive one that I found with the competition package and within driving distance....

do you have an aftermarket exhaust on yours? some of the YouTube Videos sound awesome.

Yes i do. I have an Eisenmann race. Hearing it + the ITB's singing at high rpms is just euphoric.

Not an E92, but I have an E90 - the practical one w/ 4 doors. I've owned it since 3/09. It's been out of warranty since last summer and keeps on driving/looking like new, w/ no reliability issues whatsoever (although it only has a bit over 40k miles). As long as you're OK w/ it's thirst for fuel, there's little else to criticize. It's very comfortable, fast, and practical.

I have the 6 sp. manual, but the DCT is nice too.

My friend had a e90. Both throttle bodies ended up going out. Within a month of each other. I think they were around $1800 a pop. It had about 60k miles. He ended up getting spooked and traded it for a mint E30 M3 with 51k original miles.

that is why i am getting a 2013 with lots of factory warranty... lol.... i hate not having warranties but don't mind if it is a honda... i have never owned a BMW so i figured i better play it safe.

The newer stuff is junk compared to the older. I've got a e36 M3 sedan that runs like a clock. The wife has a X5 that has been in the shop 4 times already this year.

With that said, I loved the E90. It was a blast to drive. Definately something I could drive everyday.
