The Civic Hybrid is a sweet ride. I think an S2000 and a Civic Hybrid can live in perfect harmony.

Prius tech is great, but too ugly imo, the civic still looks good. They are cool for what they are and can actually move if you want to.
I had to take an Insight back from a Cust once after a year because the combind weight of the owner and is wife exceded the gross weight capacity of the car resulting in poor gas milage. They had the nerve to claim we should have known how fat they were and told them from the start they were too big for it. True Story!!!!

They probably would have sued us for discrimination. They were actually nice people, but that is just rude for me to loose money over something like that, As Don King said " only in AMERICA."

Having owned a insight for some time now I could see how they could have a case as the car is very reactive to weight. With my father and myself in the car a combined total of like 325 pounds the car is underpowered to say the least.
I have seen a ccompletely stripped insight pulling 75-80 mpg under daily conditions and pushing 90 in modified one. IE following insanely close to a large truck to draft. Personally I can pull about 67 mpg over the tank at best but float around 59 or so most of the time, really depends on the weather as to what you can get. Good luck with the new civic I have not had a chance to realy play around with one just yet but I plan to. And the new purs are not ugly they are just unique, slippery mother in the wind tunnel to.
