Only recently I found out that Gallardo with Tubi Exhaust sounds very high-pitched. I love high-pitched exhaust notes.

Our own cousin, the NSX, can make a decent semi-high pitched wail with the right exhaust. And it doesn't cost a large fortune to maintain (only a small one )

The high pitched F1 sound is mostly from the motor, not from the exhaust design. You need a high revving V8, V10 or V12 with small bore and short strokes which means small displacement. That's why the V10s in the Vipers sounds nothing like the V10s in the Gallardos or the M5s. You can put any kind of exhaust on the Viper and it's not going to sound like a F1 car.
The F1 or Ferrari sound comes from engines with a flat plane crankshaft, as opposed to a cross plane. That's why a Gallardo sounds like a Gallardo and a Viper sounds like a Viper. High revving also means nothing when you can hear already the difference at 3000rpms.
