Grats on the purchase. I love GTR's but I've been reading some crap about them lately. My buddy over on the Cobalt forums knows someone at Nissan, and they state that the car is black boxed, so if you drive it rather spirited, it shows that to Nissan and voids your warranty. Not to mention the Differential lasts for about 15 launches before she blows. Not entirely sure if this information is true, but it makes you wonder how such a great performing car can only have relatively low price tag. All it all, I still want one.

Warranty is not an issue on this car...it will be a test mule for some serious modding.

And I can guarantee that if there is a weakness in the diff, this car will find the limit.

In japan it has all the tracks, etc, on a gps and when the car gets to one, it tells Nissan.

Im not sure if its the same here.
