Don't doubt that anything in that commercial is not real. I think I remember reading that it took 101(?) tries to get it right.


They did do it in a few sections, though.. so it wasn't a full rube goldberg machine.

I thought I read that the final take of it actually was a continuous shot?

From recollection that ad is about 18 months to 2 years old. The final take was continuous but it took days and days and days to get it to work right. Has to be one of the greatest ads ever in my book.

Yeah, I must've been drunk when I posted that.




But I do remember reading that they did it in 3 segments because the room wasn't big enough for the full machine.

that thing is real, i remmeber it cost a lot of money, and like 100+ takes or soemthing like that

I remember reading an article about it. Yes, it took 611 takes, and yes, it IS one continuous shot. No camera tricks.

Very impressive!
