I thinks the whole DoRiFtO craze is just weird; don't forget, in stock form, its a normal corolla
I liked a 92 accord that I had, but without a new suspension and engine - it was an ACCORD... thats why I have an S2K now
BTW the AE86 looks boring to me
bleh...

spoken like a person who doesn't know anything about an 86. Stock form the AE86 can still be drifted, in stock form it still was a peppy little car in it's day. In stock form it was still balanced and handled well, very lightweight vehicle. Now if you want to talk about boring looks a 92 Accord?

you can say the same thing about a Pinto. Does that make it any better? You can drift ANY RWD car, but some cars, like Corollas, are just crappy cheap cars to start with. That's not to say people can't have some sort of desire for them, but when a cartoon makes you want a Corolla of all cars, you need medication, IMHO

Wow, if you pick up a nice AE86 just to make it look like fugged up like the ones in the pics thats crazy. Do a restoration on one if you like them so much and just change the power plant. Keep it looking close to stock and it might be worth something. Just my opinion, but the cars in those pics, while probably w/ high $ mods, look like sh!t. Ever notice what stock MR-2's, supras, etc go for compared to the rice versions? That'll happen with the S2K too.

There's a local one sitting, non-running with a set of Panaspsort wheels and a 20v 4A in the garage next to it. Oh yeah, the 4A has ITBs too.

i dont' want the ae86 because of initial d. to tell you the truth, i have never seen an episode of it..

I want an ae86 for it's fantastic body lines.. I think it looks sooo beautiful.

And yes, i know it's gonna cost $10,000 for s2k engine swap. I've been talking to Evo Motorsports who did the swap already. Sadly, my journey begins with finding a decent running ae86.

I think your screen name says it all.

Besides, haven't you heard, 2006 is the final year of production for the S2000.
