Anyone else follow Rob Dahms build? He puts up new videos pretty regularly.

He is also going to be doing a 6 rotor build in the future.

Neat. But who is this guy? I have never heard of him, and did I see a old lambo parked in the garage late in the video?

I just wonder who these people are that have some huge shop to do a custom car for themselves for sh&ts and giggles and seem to have unlimited cash and time. How come my dad is not a hedge fund manager who gives me a giant trust fund to play with? Maybe he was one of those people who responded to the "I make $21 dollars an hour from home on my computer" ads?

I would like to be one of those people. Maybe if I just allow ads on my Youtube video of me hand feeding a deer in my yard I would have a whole pocket full of nickels too. I have at LEAST two dozen views on that thing.

I am not sure the story on the Diablo, I think this guy got some notoriety doing rotary swaps in Corvettes

Some of the other videos are pretty cool, car is gonna be a beast, being built for 3,000 horsepower, attesa style AWD.

I've been watching Dahm's videos for awhile now, he actually has his own IT company, that's where he gets the majority of his money. He's always posted car related videos but I think only blew up recently from all the rotorary videos.

So does he have some one-off tooling allowing him to produce these 4 rotor engines?

4-rotors have been around for years, here's the first one I can think of in New Zealand. Pretty sure it was built in the mid-late 1990s. The video was uploaded to Youtube in 2006 but the recording is from well before then (as evidenced by the shocking quality).

But why stop at 4? Why not go 6?

I forgot to mention FOURRE dyno'd at (from distant memory) 590whp NA and ran very low 10s back in the day on our skating-rink drag strips.
