The steering is unassisted in the 4C; now that's a real Alfa! All it's missing is the flames out the back of the exhaust.

I don't think you'll ever see a high performance car coming from Italy with from here on in with a manual... Kind of sucks, but the consumers have spoken. There's hope that the Alfa-Mazda collaboration could yield us a manual version for the new Spyder, but there's no guarantee on that either.

Sadly the report I read also said US curb weight of 2650 which doesn't put it too far ahead of the S2000. Still...if looks could kill I would have died when I saw it at the Frankfurt auto show a couple weeks ago.

Carbon tub and panels should give this another dimension that belies its weight. Vibration dampening and strength of carbon fiber is better than aluminum.
