He's not an "undergrad law student," he's a student at Yale Law School. The school where the best of the best develop. I'm sure Obama has his reasons for choosing Deese and would not choose him if he couldn't perform the job well.

However, I can understand the scape goat argument. After all, Deese is a YLS and so was Hillary, the person who he first supported. Obama is a lowly Harvard grad and would so scapegoat a YLSer

"the best of the best"?? you are kidding right? Rankings be damned, but in the legal field, its has been my experience that most of the richest and most successful lawyers DO NOT come from Ivy League schools.

To much emphasis on philosophy and policy and not enough practical knowledge to effectively practice law.

Not enough emphasis on spelling and grammar.

That is what paralegals and secretaries are for.

so you associate "rich" to "successful"?

if that's the case then nobody will get admissions to law school. try to use that as your aspiration for success in the law field.

some people go to law school because they want to learn and practice law, not to become rich like "Larry Miller got me, 2.1 million" TV commercials hawking "the best attorneys around to get you out of jail!"

the kid is obviously smart, and where's the attack on that young thirty-something year old bald guy that ran the multi BILLION DOLLAR TARP fund when Bush was still in office? yeah he was a star analyst from GS, but i think people are looking for intelligent people to do this, and without seeing the results and attack the kid is in poor taste.

what did Bush know about running the government? at least his old man knew how to run assasinations and topple governments from his CIA days. what did an ACTOR from California know about running a super power? and i'm not talking about Arnold.

give the kid a chance.
