Well, last night I picked up a Silverstone/black '05 S2000. It's certainly a lot different than my old Vette and truck, but I'm looking forward to getting to know this car inside and out. It's fun so far, I have put about 100 miles on her.

I can't believe I'm back in riceboy land. Just kidding!

Enjoy. Did you check for spring spacers? Also, check the tire pressure, usually ships with about 40 to 45psi in the tires. But you probably knew all that being here 4 years and all.

I'll check, but I watched them do most of the PDI, so it should be good to go. I have a tire gauge and will check the tires this evening and I'll doublecheck the spring spacers, though the ride feels very compliant...err, at least as S2000's go.

Pics coming soon!!! Need to get a hold of a digital camera. This evening!!

Maybe dealers are better at PDI than they were five years ago.. but I doubt much has changed. I was informed enough to ask for the spring spacers in hand.. but I failed to count them! several were left in. I would check myself.

He's helping maintain balance in the Force - candyass just traded his S2000 for a C6, after all.

David, you crack me up. Thoughts of impending marriage have forced me to get a bit crazy with car stuff. haha.

That said, I will have this car for 3 years and I will torture this car. At the end of said 3 years, it will be an ideal time to pick up a pristine used '07 Z06 or a new '08 depending on how the #'s play out.

I have access to an '05 Z51 C6 that I've driven extensively (incredible car!!) and I will soon have access to a new Z06 to drive when my good friend picks it up. Yet another one is getting his custom 911S in July. I will still get my torque fix, dont' worry about that.

Tell me about your car stuff? When are you getting a C6, I know you've been jonesing for one.
