This is for a Canadian friend of mine who figures he can use the car in the U.S. for the next year and take it back to Canada with him -- saving some money in the process given the higher base for the car in Canada.

Is anyone in the Connecticut area familiar with dealers willing to sell TL's with the summer and nav for around invoice? Any knowledge of brokers out there?

my cousin got an '05 M3 SMG, comp package from the states and he saved 15K AFTER duty and taxes.

and imported my S2000 2 years ago...saved a boatload as well.

make sure your pal checks this website to make sure the car is admissable into Canada (most mainstream cars are, but just to be sure).

Can't speak to CT, but here in NJ, DCH Montclair Acura is very agressive with their TL pricing. Abt a yr ago I was able to negotiate invoice on a TL-nav.

Tell your friend to give DCH Montclair Acura in NJ a call. We got our RL at an unbelievably great deal ($200 over invoice + about $500 in options). They're also a sponsor on the acurazine forums and they give quotes by email.

I hear they are about 3-500 over in the remote areas, very close to inv everywhere else.

I know most of the dealers here becuase I insure them. I can get most car around here at invoice, i have for my family and friends for years. But hey what do I know Since I make things up for attention. Either way your best bet is in manchester CT they have are usually the most willing to sell at invoice. They also usualy have a nice stock of cars with options and colors. I could take a drive down later if you like and see.
