thanks for the info from those of you who knew something, or even suspected it. i understand bore and stroke differ as well, but the size is still 3.2. they are both aluminum blocks and heads i suspect as well. the nsx is 290 hp rated and tl is 270 rated by honda/acura.

exterior dimensions differ as well as exaust systems i have found out also.

interesting that they are both 3.2 lts and made by same co...perhaps just a coincidence of design.

NSX = 90 degree V6
MDX, CL, TL, 2005 RL = 60 degree V6's. Some people use to upgrade the 3.2L CL-S to a 3.5L with MDX parts.

Perhaps you misunderstood, the TL you have has no relationship to an NSX. The only ones that do are the 96-98 3.2TL's. Even so only the casting of the block is the same. Everything else about them are different.

The block in your TL is the same one that was first used in the 1998 Honda Accord with the 3.0V6 and 1997 Acura CL V6.

The NSX engine also has a different orientation. If you install an NSX engine in your TL, you'll have to drive it in reverse.

i think he is referring to the way that they spin.

also to the original poster. they are completley ****ing different. not to sound like an ass but you seem like you dont want to hear it. they are completleydifferent engines that just have to have the same displacement.

They spin the same way, just located in different locations.
