$60,000 is not too much to ask for a top of the line automobile. How much do you think a Lexus LS or a Lexus SC cost?

When I think ultra luxury I think Maybach or Bentley not Lexus.

Ok, well maybe not "Ultra" luxury, but high end luxury.

Mindcore, man, you crack me so consistently, up. And ASIMO, that bit about invisible being the bestest color ever. Funny. No, seriously, I laughed.

Anyhow, as a new owner of an Acura TSX let me throw in my two cents. I love it. It's rock-solid, it's nimble, and it looks great. I traded in my '02 Mini Cooper, which was leased by the way...I actually made a nice chunk of cash on the trade-in. It's nice when you can drive a car for 14 months, trade up, and make back 4 months of lease payments....It's very nice indeed.

As I think back to how I decided to go with the TSX, one theme seems to recur: the base model is really the only model. It's not a watered-down BMW or Benz and it's not a loaded Accord. The TSX is comfortable in itself and doesn't try to squeeze into it's class by virtue of it's extras or by elimination of it's capabilities. In that regard it's like the S2000. Sure, you could snaz it up a bit, but why? It looks great straight from Japanese factory from whence it came.

Oh, and my wife liked it and told me she wanted one.

Uecker.

I've driven the TSX, and I thought it was pretty good for a Prelude knock-off with a better interior and a bigger price tag.

I talked my g/f into a TSX and seeing as how all the magazines are raving about the TSX, I think I made a good choice for her.

Hands down, it's the best value entry-luxury car on the road today.
