About leasing...Help.
Okay.
Finally my payments for my car paid off and need a new car soon.
I'm thinking about leasing a car. (36month/15,000 miles per yr)
$300ish per month sounds good to me.
I dont know nothing about leasing.
Any1 can explain to me what is the best way to do?
and...what can I buy in my situation?
My situation is like...
First, $7,000 from my old car for the down payment + $1,000 more.
Second, I have to go back to my country after 3 yrs, so this is the last chance to buy someting nice.
If I go back, I may drive '95 Hyundai. (No more imports!)
I may NOT come back to the U.S, thats why this is the last.
I get around $500 a month for a part-time job, so I can handle the payment
I really wanna BUY a car, but no reason to OWN my car in the U.S.
I know there are several options for me.
Help me out, guyz.

Never, ever...ever, ever ever put money down on a lease, if you put your 8000 down and drive it off the showroom floor and crash (total) it, you lose your 8000 just like that, if you put 0 down or 500 down, then you lose the little amount you did have to put in at signing.
At about 300 per month you are looking at cars in the 23,000 to 27,000 dollar range, if it were me, I would get the Subaru WRX for about 260 per month or so with no money down.
