All the mechanical mods are impressive, but the mismatching color scheme, window visor and decals make it look like one of the run-of-the-mill showboat junkers in the hood. At least that would have been my first impression...

The thing is that there are so many CRX junkers out there w/ mismatching bodycolor parts (usually from "junk" parts from other CRX) that it would have been more refreshing to see a fresh single-bodycolor CRX.
Anyway, the white/black color scheme itself is fine. It only looks bad when combined with the gold'ish rims (nice wheels, but color doesn't go with b/w bodycolor) and the ghetto signature decal and window visor.
It has always been my goal to find a clean, rust-free CRX to build on myself. Sadly that's hard to come by as those that are for sale are usually used-and-put-away-wet and/or defaced w/ poorly fitted and ugly bodykits. Aside from the few aforemenioned eye sores, this CRX is put together really well.

I agree. When I decided to build mine I wanted the outside to look as stock as possible, I even hesitated painting the bottom black sections red because I figured if I kept them OEM black it would look more stock. And for the record, I'm never giving mine up!
