Are you serious ? Could not produce the power and reliability of the Mazda ? There are buckets of reliable 500+WHP Z32's out there to this day, there is still huge support for the car. The Z32 has proven to be a very reliable steed. What planet are you from ?

Reliable - FD RX-7

The FD looks good, but the engine is utter garbage. If you compare all aspects of ownership, the 300zx is the more complete car.

Hell, half of you are honda fanbois because you fiend for reliability. That's what keeps you away from better European cars. I find it hard to imagine any of you ever purchasing an RX7.

Clearly clueless.
Looks are subjective. I see those head/tail lights infront of me, or behind me on the road and it makes me want to

Sorry, it looks like the Japanese tried way to hard to copy a shitty American car and add Japanese accents. I'm glad you like it. I don't. I don't see how that makes me clueless. I also never said anything about performance, just that its looks makes my stomache churn.
You should check out the more reliable, American FD:

Guys, it is not a nightmare to own, or even DD a turbo rotary. It just gets awful, awful gas mileage and demands a strict oil change schedule.

It's disturbing that so many of you rely on hearsay, having never owned or daily driven a rotary before.

Styling is subjective, then fine. But power and reliability of the FD? Are you on drugs? On which planet was the FD more reliable (and powerful) than the 300ZX? Are you 12 now, which means you were non-existent back then? Your ignorance makes me believe so. Not only was the Z much more reliable, but it was easier to modify more power out of it; in stock trim, the Z had 300hp while the FD 255. People say the dumbest things online.

Yup, I am 12. daddy is gonna get me a skate board for my birthday.

I guess I should have explained a little more. Im not talking about stock vs. stock. I always thought the Z was a little more limited as far as making power without doing major modifications. Yes I am fully aware of the downfalls of a rotary motor and the problems that exist in owning one.

I guess I just dont remember seeing a ton of high HP Z32s running around.

Never liked the look of the Z32 and the FD is too problematic.

Therefore NA2 NSX.
