Camaro and Challanger look nice. I also like the Infinity Concept Coupe (read- G35 replacement).

Sure there is a market for these cars, but now you have a whole bunch of cars competing for the same audience that want to re-live their 70's muscle car days, that audience has limits and the cars are plentiful.
Well I'm 22 and all of these cars appeal to me. I know I cannot be alone in this as I am sure there are plenty of guys my age that would love to have a V8 powered, rear drive car other than the Mustang. I think some of you are under estimating the target demographic for these vehicles.

No doubt people your age will like them. How many have the cash for a $25 -$30k car and the insurance that will go with it? The market is still limited.

I love an F430, does not mean I'll get one.

Well said. Looking at that thing, it's blatantly obvious what their design influences were: other peoples' cars. They also got some key details VERY wrong, which completely kills the supposed air this thing is supposed to project. For example, the taillights are JC Whitney Altezza rejects, and they're trying to "Rollsify" the BMW "halo" headlights...it's all quite trite really.

I agree. While the camaro is cool what GM really needs is a decent alternative to the camry and accord that can help them make some money. I think lowering their prices is a good start. I understand that the incentives were already making the cars lower, but I believe having a lower price to begin with gives them chances to market their cars better. I think they need to go back to basics and look at how the japanese and korean car companies were able to steal so much of their market share in the first place. I guarantee it wasn't by offering hot rods!!

From Detroit Auto Show (I was there today):

The RDX concept was the only concept in the Acura booth - no mid engine sportscar (or NSX)

The Camaro looks better than the Challenger

The 2 tone Ferarri Imola is ugly (the FX is wicked)

The cross-overs from Ford are nicer than the ones from DCX

Audi S6 and S8 have V10s

The Cayman looks great in Blue (not so great in Silver)

The M Coupe is not as nice as the Cayman

The Cadillac STS V-Type is HOT

my humble opinions

F1DNA

Sebring/Black
